The New Face of Eric & Moriah Photography

Thank you to all of our loyal E&MP blog followers. You may notice that we’ve made a few changes and enhanced our digital portfolio. ‘Inspired’ is the word we choose to describe our new design. It is contemporary and elegant, like our photography. Likewise, we choose the word ‘Art’ to describe our photography. In this digital era the art of photography is no longer limited to the traditional darkroom post production. As contemporary artists, Eric and I are able to not only edit images but to enhance and intensify an emotion, a movement, and a moment.

Although we have revealed the new face of E&MP the two faces behind the lenses are the same – eager for inspiration. That is where your beautiful visage comes in… we are looking for you to be the New Face of Eric & Moriah Photography. We offer our service for the whole spectrum of human life… from maternity to family portraits, senior portraits, engagements, weddings and everything in between. Contact us for detailed pricing. eandmphotography@gmail.com - or - 970.227.3652

Now, we only find it fitting that our newest E&MP Blog post be our first wedding…

SUSAN & MONTE

How cool that two young, very talented actors get married in a theater! And not just any theater, the Rialto Theater in downtown Loveland. It was an incredible production with many detailed and personalized touches. They even had a wedding program that looked like a program for a Broadway show!

We want to thank the lovely couple for entrusting us to be their wedding photographers for our very first wedding. What a wonderful gift to us! We are so excited for you both with your awesome careers and the start of your life time together. Congratulations!

Now for the photos... and I must say, we are pretty proud of them ;-)

Photography is Art. Art is Inspiration. Be our Inspiration.™

Eric & Moriah Photography, Award Nominee

We want to thank Erin, a former client and fellow blogger herself, for nominating us for the "Spreader of Love" award. We are honored that she thought of us. She has a very cute blog of her family happenings where we can watch her little ones grow. Part of the award is to 'spread the love' and nominate other bloggers. As we don't know any other bloggers I am afraid that we break the chain. I would have happily nominated Erin, but obviously she was a recipient. Please visit her wonderful site, http://brumleyfamily.blogspot.com/ and I am sure you will fall in love with it. Also, you might see some familiar pictures!

On a more personal note, I want to thank Erin who has now become a dear friend to me. She has been so supportive of  Eric & Moriah Photography ever since we took her family photos (just scroll down to see 'Nate, Erin, Berea & Dustin's" September Family Portraits). What a lovely and loveing family. Take a peak at her blog and you will know why she is a true "Spreader of Love."

Thanks Erin,
{e & m}

Zach & Mekenna - Engagement

Photobucket

Eric and I just received the kindest Christmas card from our clients, Zach and Mekenna:

"Eric & Moriah
Thank you so much for being great photographers. We love the pictures we've seen and look forward to doing our wedding pictures.
Thanks a million,
Zach & Mekenna"

Here is more praise we received from them right after they viewed their photos:
"Dear E&M,
We LOVED our pictures. They turned out great. We're so excited. We DEFINETELY want you guys for the wedding."
Here are Zach and Mekenna's lovely autumn engagement photos which they speak so highly of. Enjoy!

Awesome!

That Faith Hill song pops in my head when I look at this one... "Oooh I love the way - you love the way - you love me..."

This is so cool - Zach is a bridge engineer and together we found this beautiful bridge - a fitting back drop for the beautiful couple!

Bethany & Reuben

Of the autumnal months, November resonates within me. There is a subtle beauty in the way she provides a gracious transition into the colder, darker days of winter. November brings us a culmination, an opportunity to appreciate those things that seem so fleeting. How apt that we dedicate, in this month, a day of just giving thanks. It is the obvious which we congratulate, health and happiness, but do we remember to say thanks for the precious little things that fill every day with discovery? Sunday, Eric and I discovered, again, the magic of that which we do... capture the magic between two so deeply in love.

Bethany and Reuben's engagement session fell on a beautifully overcast day that highlighted the amazing colors of the season. I am still warmed by the shades of the scenery and even more by the chemistry between the gorgeous couple. Their adoration for one another saturates every picture...

I love this picture! Reuben was constantly thinking up fun poses... and I don't think he knew that I caught him doing this one... but I did! And doesn't Bethany look like she's a model on a runway??

October Family Portraits

A few weeks ago we met Norma and her fabulous family at Fossil Creek Park, here in Fort Collins. We had never been there before but we spend the next couple of hours exploring, and we were quite happy with what we found. The fun backdrops were great but nothing could overshadow the exuberant personalities of these four kids. They were so exciting and fun to work with. I really think we were able to capture their bright spirits!
