Colorado Wedding Photographer - Favorite Moments of 2009!

Oh my goodness. It's only the first week in January and we are busy planning for wedding season 2010! We feel so incredibly blessed! Looking back on 2009 I can't help but be overwhelmed by feelings of utter joy and amazement when I think of the incredible journey Eric & Moriah Photography has lead us on. Amongst all the excitement of our own wedding we also had a very successful first wedding season. Thank you so much to all of our lovely couples! And thank you to all of our portrait clients as well. Natalie & Lenny - Wedding

Well, it was one lovely week before our own wedding... what a celebration it was! Natalie and Lenny's wedding was by far the largest we've photographed and the day was one beautiful adventure! We started out in their gorgeous hometown church with quite a crowd and the day seemed to build to a wonderful crescendo (and a huge party!)

Natalie was so calm - and she had plenty of bridesmaids there to help her get ready.


I love this one.


What lovely colors they chose! Eric and I thought that it was a great combo and so flattering on all of their attendants.


I absolutely love the light and the shadows that the cross casts. Beautiful.


I love how vibrant the colors of their whole day were. Everything was bright and cheery.

And then it was time to party!! I was fortunate enough to get a spot in the Limo along with the WHOLE wedding party!!! This is one of my favorite shots from the day - talk about catching a moment in time!


We took the limo to their small family cemetery where everyone gathered around to honor Lenny's grandparents before going on to the reception. We thought it was a very unique and endearing touch.


This staircase is to-die-for!! The very first time we met with Natalie she talked about her wedding at the Bella Sera and how she wanted a picture with all of her party on the stairs. Well... They almost didn't all fit! There was a lot of stepping on toes and sucking in - I think it was well worth it.... lovely!

While I was having a blast in the limo, Eric went ahead to the Bella Sera to take some of these beautiful detail photos...


I think this is one of my favorite reception shots ever. I love the light (and the hot pink!).


Now, this is a cake!


And they danced the night away! No really - these two could really move. So much fun to watch. We even got to see a little 'Thriller' in the middle of their first dance.


Natalie, Lenny, all of your party as well - you guys were great! What an amazing day. Congratulations on a long and very happy lifetime together.

Bethany & Reuben - Wedding
