Ok, 'Health Nut' may be an exaggeration, however Eric and I have been taking our resolution of healthy living quite seriously. I have to say I am pretty proud of us! I was making dinner last night and had to pull out the camera because it was just so colorful. I ended up taking a few shots this morning when I was making our lovely detoxing 'green drink' for breakfast. Yes. Green. It's intense and a little hard to swallow but loaded with good stuff. We've been juicing it for a while now and I have actually grown to like it. If you can make it through the pictures I've included a recipe at the bottom of this post...

I truly feel blessed when I look at my life and think of how fortunate I am to be able to do what I do and love it so. And I feel even more blessed when I think of all of the incredible people in my life who have helped me get to this place. Somedays I set out on a 'search' for the inspiration that fuels my creative journey and other days I realized that I am overwhelmed by it!
A few weeks ago I did a session for my incredible parents to celebrate their 30th anniversary. These two have been my inspiration from day one, not only encouraging my many artistic endeavors but never doubting me and always proving to me that I have the strength to accomplish anything. They are an incredible example of love and commitment for one another and a true inspiration. Thanks Mom & Dad, Congrats!

We've been needing business cards. So many of our clients have asked and I feel a little behind. The truth is, I was being indecisive. I wanted something truly unique and I think I've finally come up with it! I want to share them with you, but first, if you are looking for unique ideas you absolutely must check out this page. What an inspiration!
Well, here is the front of my final design:And the backside:

In January of 2005 I moved to Madrid, Spain... all by myself. No friends, no family. Just an oversized rolling duffle bag with all the personal effects that would get me through the next 5 months. I went equipped with my very first digital camera - the brand new Sony Cybershot with all of its 5.0 megapixels. That was huge then! 5 whole mega pixels!
These were the days before my aspirations of being a professional photographer but none the less, I showed a certain affinity to the art. Well, the visual diary I created with that little camera over those 5 months has laid dormant in a laptop computer that I no longer use. I have no prints or albums... just several folders sitting on the computers desktop. While going through the process of sorting these images I was pleasantly surprised by the spark of artistry I found in my photographs. I knew that I had to share some with you.
While I lived in Madrid for 5 months my new friends and I took many trips around the country. The first was our adventure to Segovia, Spain. What is so incredible about this quaint town is that expansive and towering aqueducts cut through the town like a beautiful highway system. Yes these are the Roman Aqueducts from that golden era so many centuries ago and Segovia's aqueducts are still a marvel to the modern man.
Well here is Segovia through the lens of an original cybershot!
Yes. That's me - the one with the long golden locks...
I just love the design on this building.
Incredible.

This last weekend we celebrated my graduation with a fabulous party at my parents' house. Everything was so beautiful. All the decorations were my favorite colors - pink and more pink! The best part was the three tiered pink cake that Eric made for me. It was amazing!
A few days before the big event my mom surprised me by getting my puppy groomed - and quite the hair cut she did get! Her hair almost touched the ground and now it is an inch all around (excuse the rhyme). Well, I absolutely had to take a few shots of her with the pink bow they put in her hair!
