Natalie & Lenny - Wedding

Well, it was one lovely week before our own wedding... what a celebration it was! Natalie and Lenny's wedding was by far the largest we've photographed and the day was one beautiful adventure! We started out in their gorgeous hometown church with quite a crowd and the day seemed to build to a wonderful crescendo (and a huge party!)

Natalie was so calm - and she had plenty of bridesmaids there to help her get ready.

I love this one.

What lovely colors they chose! Eric and I thought that it was a great combo and so flattering on all of their attendants.

I absolutely love the light and the shadows that the cross casts. Beautiful.
Photobucket

I love how vibrant the colors of their whole day were. Everything was bright and cheery.

Beautiful shot from Eric.

Awesome!

And then it was time to party!! I was fortunate enough to get a spot in the Limo along with the WHOLE wedding party!!! This is one of my favorite shots from the day - talk about catching a moment in time!
Photobucket

We took the limo to their small family cemetery where everyone gathered around to honor Lenny's grandparents before going on to the reception. We thought it was a very unique and endearing touch.

This staircase is to-die-for!! The very first time we met with Natalie she talked about her wedding at the Bella Sera and how she wanted a picture with all of her party on the stairs. Well... They almost didn't all fit! There was a lot of stepping on toes and sucking in - I think it was well worth it.... lovely!

The beautiful newly made husband and wife!

While I was having a blast in the limo, Eric went ahead to the Bella Sera to take some of these beautiful detail photos...

I think this is one of my favorite reception shots ever. I love the light (and the hot pink!).

Now, this is a cake!

And they danced the night away! No really - these two could really move. So much fun to watch. We even got to see a little 'Thriller' in the middle of their first dance.

Natalie, Lenny, all of your party as well - you guys were great! What an amazing day. Congratulations on a long and very happy lifetime together.

The Puppy & The Party

This last weekend we celebrated my graduation with a fabulous party at my parents' house. Everything was so beautiful. All the decorations were my favorite colors - pink and more pink! The best part was the three tiered pink cake that Eric made for me. It was amazing!

A few days before the big event my mom surprised me by getting my puppy groomed - and quite the hair cut she did get! Her hair almost touched the ground and now it is an inch all around (excuse the rhyme). Well, I absolutely had to take a few shots of her with the pink bow they put in her hair!

Beautiful Tulips from Eric's Parents...

My brother made a banner out of these pearly stars - the other side said 'Way to go!' with very impressive drawings of shears, combs and other hair implements!

My mom found this Barbie head that I had asked for when I was a little girl - a good indication that I might grow up to be a hairstylist!!  And there is a peek at the gorgeous cake!

Amazing!

The New Face of Eric & Moriah Photography

Thank you to all of our loyal E&MP blog followers. You may notice that we’ve made a few changes and enhanced our digital portfolio. ‘Inspired’ is the word we choose to describe our new design. It is contemporary and elegant, like our photography. Likewise, we choose the word ‘Art’ to describe our photography. In this digital era the art of photography is no longer limited to the traditional darkroom post production. As contemporary artists, Eric and I are able to not only edit images but to enhance and intensify an emotion, a movement, and a moment.

Although we have revealed the new face of E&MP the two faces behind the lenses are the same – eager for inspiration. That is where your beautiful visage comes in… we are looking for you to be the New Face of Eric & Moriah Photography. We offer our service for the whole spectrum of human life… from maternity to family portraits, senior portraits, engagements, weddings and everything in between. Contact us for detailed pricing. eandmphotography@gmail.com - or - 970.227.3652

Now, we only find it fitting that our newest E&MP Blog post be our first wedding…

SUSAN & MONTE

How cool that two young, very talented actors get married in a theater! And not just any theater, the Rialto Theater in downtown Loveland. It was an incredible production with many detailed and personalized touches. They even had a wedding program that looked like a program for a Broadway show!

We want to thank the lovely couple for entrusting us to be their wedding photographers for our very first wedding. What a wonderful gift to us! We are so excited for you both with your awesome careers and the start of your life time together. Congratulations!

Now for the photos... and I must say, we are pretty proud of them ;-)

Cassie & St. Baldrick's Day

Yay! Welcome to our new blog... well there have been some exciting happenings lately. On Saturday Eric and I drove to Estes Park to photograph our lovely friend Cassie. We had a lot of fun, despite the weather. Later that day we volunteered with the St. Baldrick's charity event. This foundation raises money for children affected by cancer. To find out more, please visit www.stbaldricks.org. The whole evening was very exciting. We were part of a captivated audience who watched a performance by a local Irish Dance troupe. There talent was only rivaled by their gorgeous costumes. What a joy to photograph!
